PHG Anoxic Brain Injury Inc. is a 501(c)(3)
Not-for-Profit Charity.

PHG Anoxic Brain Injury Inc. was created and founded by the parents of Patrick Henry Gray II and was designed to help those living with anoxic brain injuries. In addition, this charity seeks to bring awareness to anoxic brain injuries. The goal is to someday find a cure for anoxic brain injury, where people living with this type of brain injury can be independent and live normal, fulfilling lives.

My Story . . . I have to tell you all about an incredible young man. Patrick was in college with a bright future ahead of him. In May 2010, he came home only to visit for spring break. However, his life would change forever after that day. Patrick suffered an anoxic brain injury caused by pneumonia, followed by cardiac arrest in which he coded. Patrick lost oxygen for approximately 16 minutes. In addition, it took another 19 minutes to stabilize his heart rhythm. Patrick suffered some brain damage, which has left him disabled. Patrick has a strong will and fights each day to get better. Yes, he is truly a miracle.
